To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of California Crossing, Fu Manchu is releasing California Crossing 25th Anniversary Edition. This special limited edition gatefold release of 1,000 units is pressed on Custom El Camino/Sand Splatter Vinyl and features newly remastered audio for maximum fidelity. Originally released on 23 October, 2001 California Crossing was recorded at the legendary Sound City Studios in Los Angeles, California and produced by the band and Matt Hyde (DEFTONES, SLAYER, MONSTER MAGNET). The 11 song collection includes “Mongoose” (as seen in a Toyota Super Bowl commercial, Sons of Anarchy, The Hot Chick, Boondock Saints II and more), “Squash That Fly” (their most successful radio single), “Bultaco” (featuring vocals by The Circle Jerks’ Keith Morris) and fan favorites “Separate Kingdom,” “Hang On,” as well as the title track.
